Ponte da Mucela is a fairly remote village, 30 km from Coimbra, with a charming historical bridge. The residency consists of a refurbished neoclassical villa (1942) and a newly renovated stone farmhouse (1888) built on top of an ancient Roman road.
We currently have two 'artist in residence' apartments, two three-bedroomed houses and two studio-rooms (single or double). Visitors can enjoy their meals on three big terraces with magnificent vistas of the river, bridge and wooded hills.
Please have a look at our rooms, and choose where you will stay on during your creative retreat.
